Inception reviews are mostly good

The new Christopher Nolan helmed film, Inception, debuts Friday, July 16, and also the reviews are beginning to pop up. The reviews are good for probably the most part. In fairness, the Batman films Nolan directed were excellent. Leonardo DiCaprio is definitely a great actor, and that means automatic good reviews because some critics are sheep like that. However, some critics believed in not sparing the rod, and proceeded to rip this film a new one. Apparently, the film just rubbed them the wrong way.

Inception gets good reviews at its inception

Inception reviews are already piling up on Rotten Tomatoes, and most of RT seems to love the film. It has a score within the 80s range, which is good. Roger Ebert gave it four stars, praising cast and crew. He said the film was “wholly original, cut from new cloth” and he is not alone in thinking that’s a rare thing. That means online personal loans will be inundating box offices if it really is that good.

Not for everyone though

Nothing really pleases every person. Some reviewers were harsh. Kurt Loder of MTV asked “are they handing out joints at the box office for ‘Inception’? That would make the movie considerably more fun.” Most critics think the film confusing, though well acted and visually interesting.

Survey says

Most Inception reviews are good. The Inception ending is intended to be something outlandish, but we won’t spoil it for you. Consensus is apparently that if you absolutely need a clear Point A to Point B and an ending that wraps things up in a neat little bow, then this film is not for you.
