In the news...

Vehicle revenue have increased since last September

Since past Sept, vehicle sales have been steadily increasing. September 2009 was not a great month for vehicle sales. Just like home sales slumping following the expiration of the tax credit, the end of Cash for Clunkers saw auto revenue drop off slightly. Ever since, automobile sales are steadily going up. The sales for this September have slumped after August sales. The domestic auto makers really did pretty well. There was a huge gain over the year for Chrysler.

Vehicle revenue increased since 2009

At the end of the Cash for Clunkers program, vehicle revenue dropped. Ever since then, the auto industry has worked to try and get back up. Since September 2009, auto firms are selling more vehicles at a steadily increasing pace in the U.S.. The vehicle industry in total marked a 29 percent increase since last year, based on Automotive News. Domestic car firms increased. This was just realized. Just Ford had a giant increase. The increase was 40 percent. General Motors sales increased by 11 percent. Chrysler really showed everybody increase with its jump. It had a 61 percent increase. Only Suzuki sold fewer cars over the last year.

Down for the calendar month

The increase may are good in the year, however the month of Sept was slower than August. Many kids are returning to school, and no one wants a brand new if they have a tuition bill to cover. Since August, Chrysler had a less than 1 percent gain, although the year showed more gains. From August to Sept, Ford looks the best. The only problem is that it was only a 2 percent bump. Within the last calendar month, GM had revenue fall quite a bit. There was a 7 percent drop in sales. GM really did better than Ford in case you are counting volume. Right now it is just a percentage. According to CNN, car industry insiders believe a good fourth quarter is coming.

Rebound may be slow but is happening

The vehicle industry, along with many other industries dependent on consumer spending, has been rocked by the economy. Of course, it is being resolved although it might be slow.
